10 Days Chardham Yatra by Road from Haridwar 2022 Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie (370km)-
Begins your Chardham yatra from Haridwar. Arrive at Haridwar Railway Station, where our representative will guide you on the road trip to Barkot via Mussoorie. Guests can stop by at Kempty Falls for a dip. Then, the journey resumes and after a few hours, you will reach Barkot and be escorted to the hotel.
You can choose to go out to spend time as the weather remains pleasant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Drive Barkot to Yamunotri Dham (36kms drive & 6 km Trek each side)-
Leave early in the morning for the drive to Phoolchatti/Jankichatti from where the trek covering 6 km will commence. The same stretch can be covered by walking, horse or doli. The emerald valley dotted with conifers, cacti, and rhododendrons will cheer you up along the way.
Pilgrims often visit the Surya Kund, the hot springs, before going to the temple. They carry rice in a white cloth that gets cooked when dipped in the kund. The cooked rice is taken home as Prasad. Besides, pilgrims take a bath in the Jamnabai Kund and go to worship at Divya Shilla. Seek blessings of the holy Yamunaji. Later returned to Jankichatti and then Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi Temple Visit (85 km)-
On this day, you will be heading out to the next destination, Uttarkashi. On arrival, pay homage to Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple. After that, make your way to the hotel and relax.
Night stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi - Gangotri Dham- Uttarkashi (100 km)-
Begin the journey of day 4 by driving down to Gangotri. On the way, take a holy dip in Garam Kund at Gangnani. After that, proceed to the temple, the next pilgrimage site on the Chota Char Dham route.
Further, even though the sacred temple is the town's main highlight, there are places to visit nearby, like the Kedar Ganga Sangam and Submerged Shivling. Later proceed to Uttarkashi for a night's stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220kms)-
As the sun rises, you will be driving straight to Guptkashi by Moolgarh and Lambgaon. On the way, you can capture the scenic view of the Mandakini River at Tilwara. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and unwind. Later in the evening, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham (30km by road & 19km trek)-
Once your medical check-up is done, you will proceed to Sonprayag on day 6. The trek from Sonprayag to Kedarnath is 19 km, which can be covered by pony or palki. It is advised that the guests should carry medicines, toiletries, and warm woolen and clothes for the overnight stay at Kedarnath. Pay regards at the Kedarnath Temple.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (19Km Trek & 30kms/1hr by road)-
Get up early in the morning and take a bath, as after that, you will be going to Kedarnath Temple for the Abhishek pooja. All the pilgrims can enter the Garbha Griha, bow your head in front of the idol, and pay your obeisance. Then, post the darshan, and trek your way down to Sonprayag. From there, you will be escorted to Guptkashi.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath (215km/7hrs)-
On day 8 you will be going to Badrinath, the last Dham on the Chota Char Dham Yatra. The popular shrine is set at an elevation of 3,133 m and takes shelter between the Nar and Narayan mountains.
Before entering the temple, pilgrims take a bath in the hot water springs of the Tapt Kund, on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Other sacred places surround the temple, including Sheshnetra Ashram and Brahma Kapal. Also, get blessings from the mother of Sri Badrinath at Mata Murti Temple. Bhim Pul, Vasundhara Waterfall, and Vyas Gufa are other popular places to visit here . Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 : Badrinath Temple visit and drive to Rudraprayag (160km)-
Early in the morning, proceed to Tapt Kund to take a bath. After that make your way for darshan at the Badrinath Dham. Also known as Badri Vishal, this shrine is one of the five forms of Lord Vishnu.
After spending some time at the temple, drive back to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar by Joshimath. Upon your arrival in Rudraprayag/ Kirtinagar, complete the check-in formalities to stay here for the night.
Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh- Haridwar (160km/5hrs)-
This day you will be heading out to Rishikesh, also known as the 'Gateway to Garhwal Himalayas'. It is one of the holiest places for Hindus from where the River Ganges flows through. You can visit the ancient temples and attractions, namely Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhulla, and Sivananda Ashram, tucked into the town.
After the yatra, transfer to Haridwar Railway Station for your onward journey.
